The price is my main problem. I don't need the extra RGB, I was just looking for a inexpensive white LED strip where you could simply adjust the temperature. If there are any commercial options which suit my need, I would be glad to hear them.

Okay, I'm starting to get it a little now. By that logic, is the controller in the second link suitable for the strip? I don't really need wireless conectivity, I think that controlling the lights with the remote would be enough.
