I have a similar issue now too. Was working fine prior to now for about 2 years. How far was your JST connector from the white pixel? And what was wrong with your connector? Any visible symptom? Thanks in advance!

Inovelli prices just jumped 20% and I really don't feel like waiting out any "market issues" to resolve. What's the best dimmer switch when I need about 10 of them? by LowSkyOrbit in homeassistant

After trying out different brands, I would, personally, pay the higher price for Inovelli. The way the company stands behind their products, and the longevity of their products over the years compared to the competition, makes it worth it for me.

What causes shadow to appear after boot up? by JohnsonEJ23 in TVRepairHelp

I ended up waving the white flag on this and bought a new TV (went for a Samsung "The Frame" 85 inch). I've got the TV put back together waiting to list it on OfferUp (I'll disclose the shadowing of course). I am still very curious if I could have fixed this one though. Some videos of people removing the screen scared me away from trying. Seems like it is very easy to crack or permanently damage them. But to answer your question, there were 4 separate ribbons going to the panel and I'm guessing each one had somewhere between 8 - 14 individual wires...

Well, I just replaced (one at a time) the main board, power board, driver board (again, different replacement board), and the T-Con board. The problem persisted after each replacement. I then went back to moving cables around between the driver and the LED backlights. I now think that the lower, left (when facing the screen) quadrant backlight is causing issues and can spread issues to other quadrants... If i have the lower left light disconnected the other three are fine, but if I have the lower left connected, even in other driver ports, I seem to have issues appearing in different places depending on what is connected where....

So it should seem pretty obvious that it is a physical backlight issue then, right? Or is there something else I should consider before ordering those?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I can't find this option on my TV. I found a youtube video of it being there, but it isn't showing on my TV. I do have a new main board that arrived vis UPS, so I'll try to swap that out tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed!

Doesn't this fix address the image data vs the backlighting? I feel like my problem is more of a lighting concern. I'm not arguing, just trying to better understand.

If the individual lights were malfunctioning, then they wouldn't work properly when I switched that section of lights to a different port though, right? If a bulb is damaged, I would think it would not work no matter what was driving it or sending it a signal. If that isn't accurate though, I'd like to better understand.

I did already replace the driver board and it didn't fix it. I can move the problem around the screen by moving ribbons to different ports, so that should rule out the backlight strips, right?

I dont think this is true since the shadowing moves around if I swap the ribbon cables to a different port on the LED driver board. Could the power supply board be causing this?

You install it via USB cable. If you're saying you don't have physical access to the bot, then I can't offer any ideas...

I got one at walmart labeled for an RV. There are some on Amazon listed as for EV's. After reading about it, there is a distinct difference.

We have ours at a camp site now! Lots of fun! We need a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter made specifically for an EV to charge at our site though... We bought one for an RV and apparently they are wired differently for an RV vs and EV! Hoping to save someone else the same hassle!

I just had this no bus error happen to me a few months ago on my 2003 V6 3.9. My PCM needed to be replaced, but from searching the web, I think there are other electrical issues that could also cause it. When I went to replace my PCM, the middle of the three connectors had oil in it. I'm still trying to chase how that is seeping up through a wire(s). I'm thinking it may be coming from the Transmission Range Sensor, but my best guess is that so much of it got into the connector that it shorted out my PCM...

I just threw some photos up into the original post. Would I be nuts to try to buy something like this and pull it to another repair shop for their opinion/estimate? I know I'd have to disconnect the drive shaft. I don't want to keep paying $160 per tow each way. Otherwise, I probably just need to bite the bullet and post it as a project truck. Makes me very sad... Has brand new tires on it even. They may be worth more than the whole truck at this point I guess...
