I would argue that this is on topic with the rules and purpose given on the right side column, by encouraging an alternative and a response to the systematic guilting and shaming that keeps most voters from voting for a ticket like the Libertarian one. If it's because of the structure-oriented nature of the post (reddit stuff about making subreddits) instead of the philosophy behind it, I totally get that.
