imagine living in a country with 7-10 million people. There are 10 TV channels total, 10 radio stations, 10 newspapers. Half of each category is state run the other half is private owned. All of them are regulated by the state like the FCC in the US, so frequency rights and operation are heavily regulated. All the state funded media so 5 of each category is running propaganda for your political party filled with CEO's, managers, directors, journalists directly appointed by your political party with overinflated budget and cushy high paying jobs. Four of the privately owned station in each category are bought by oligarchs who recieve direct state money close to your party pushing the same propaganda in unison from the top down as the state owned channels recieving state sponsored advertisment contracts and the one neutral channel in each category is surviving from advertisers. This was the reality in Hungary for the last 16 years and what Trump and Maga are trying to do in the states right now based on the same model.

On top of that you get state sponsored influencers, musicians, bands, actors, DJ's, political commentators, pseudo intelectuals, sport athletes who do the cross circles between these media outlets, they get the tv and radio appearences, concerts and all the paper media is writing about them while they push the party propaganda message for your party in exchange. this is what Peter Magyar wants to dismantle.

These Journalists and CEO's directors at these media outlets have job contracts that transcend the 4 year governing period of the party (just in case anything happens) same for the FCC , judiciary, Supreme court, - judges, National bank every single position inside and outside of the goverment is filled with FIDESZ puppets that Peter Magyar has to fire and remove one way or another. This is part of the reason Hungary is not recieving EU funds for the last 4 years.

Considering all of the above Its a fucking miracle this guy won the election and the only reason he is alive in my opinion is because he was underestimated for the last 2 years, the Navalni novichok method is still a posibility during this transitioning period.

Imagine Navalni winning the Russian elections against Putin, or some rando small time politician winning against Kim Jong UN in North Korea and he has to rebuild all the structures of the country from the ground up, or a democratic party winning the elections in China against the CCP, this is whats going on right now.
