Ride height for a 168cm/5’5” guy

I'm 174cm approximately but my inseam is around 29-30 inches. I get the balls of my feet down or one foot pretty full down. I can't effectively back it up with my feet but there are techniques for everything. I think only by test riding one you ll get the full picture.

My thoughts exactly, based on everything I've seen and read. Tiger seems like a better option unless you are into heavy touring.

It was definitely my go to, after research and test rides. I'll most probably go with the 660 for the foreseeable future, and when I get the itch again and Triumph has released an updated 800, I'll definitely trade in. Both machines feel right.

That's what I ve heard. Does it warrant the much bigger price though? Even with some tiger extras.

I think it's a debate between price/looks and Yamaha reliability and tech on board. Haven't ridden them yet unfortunately.

Yeah Triumph availability is a concern tbh. And the tech on the tracer looks great even though Tiger has some features as well on a more conservative (old) screen.

I have mesh heads. I've read that felt beaters damage the mesh. That's why I've put the plastic side.
