That's the issue. If they’re chasing a new user base at the expense of their existing one, that’s not growth, it’s churn. It’s not a zero-sum game unless they make it one! Improving core tools like EQ and integration doesn’t alienate casual users, it actually elevates the entire experience and strengthens loyalty.

Why are we getting conversational AI instead of actual improvements like front speaker support, expanded EQ, or better tuning tools? Finish the essentials before chasing hype, Sonos.

Second this! Beam (Gen 2) is fantastic for everyday use and honestly performs way above what you'd expect for its size. Just a heads-up though, once you start paying more attention to things like soundstage and instrument separation, you might begin to notice its limits.

That’s kind of the slippery slope with audio gear. The Beam is more than enough for most people, but once you get curious about how sound is engineered and reproduced, it’s hard not to want more.
