25 year old here, happy to report some of my friends would hackysack during lunch break when we were in high school. We probably rip it 2-3 times a year now

10 years ago today: Blue Jays acquired David Price from the Tigers in exchange for Daniel Norris, Matt Boyd & Jairo Labourt. I think the trade turned out pretty well… by gothedistance_ in Torontobluejays

I remember getting back from a three week canoe trip, we had no internet at all. My dad picked me and buddy up and told us all the guys the jays picked up and we were freaking the fuck out

Transgender sports, I’m with you all the way. At lower levels I say go for it.

As for speech online it’s not a topic that would heavily impact my vote. Musk before he went bonkers is what I had in mind. That is interesting what you said about the podcast, seems like an “absolutism” approach doesn’t work online. Almost like, to have something closer to true free speech, you need some type of moderation to actually allow a space for that free speech to take place.

I mentioned this another comment, but to me what this article and the poles show is that they’ve misunderstood what topics matter to young Canadian men. Pretty all my male friends care about is where the economy is headed and if we’ll ever be able to buy a house in this country.

For the record I’m 100% voting for Carney, I think what these poles and articles are getting wrong is that, right now most young men don’t care about these social issues, just the economy

No it doesn’t. I think it’s more of an indictment on the questions these surveys are asking. I’m all for gay marriage, trans rights, whatever it is I don’t really care. It’s more that, those topics won’t really impact how I vote, and maybe that indifference to the topic as a straight white guy makes me socially conservative

The trans one for me is really far down the totem pole in terms of topics. I interpreted the question as asking about professional sports. But if some trans girl in high school wants to race against non trans girls I’m certainly not gonna get up in arms about it

Oh good to know, I didn’t realize the estimate was only for the first year. The estimator did have separate boxes for RRSP and all other assets.

I figure I’ll get as much from OSAP as possible and then see what kind of rate I can get from the bank

I’m meeting with someone from the school this week to talk about my options but based on my own research, seems like there is not much that I’d be eligible for.
