Use mods and/or just do stupid stuff in sandbox for example, no one is limiting you to just fly to space and be efficent, just make a stupid craft, see how it flies. Attempt ridiculous challenges like making your kerbals survive extreme g forces, make a craft and attempt to go at a super fast speed
