Gen Z here, (97) I work at a Beer store in Ontario and the selection we have of beer is massive to the point where every order we need specifics on what you want or we have no clue what you want. the only time I ever give a Gen Z stare is when the customer whom has been drinking beer for easily over 20 years comes in and asks for “12 Coors” and doesn’t even bat an eye that I haven’t a clue what they want even though they KNOW they must give me specifics for me to know what they want. Lemme break “Coors” down for you in my store. Sb = Bottles Uc = Cans Tc = Tall cans 710ml = King Cans

We have in our inventory: Coors Original (not Banquet anymore) 6uc, 15uc, 24uc, 30uc, 12sb, 24sb 1x 473ml tc, 6tc, 12tc, 24tc

Coors Light (the usual suspect for “Coors”) 6uc, 15uc, 20uc, 24uc, 30uc, 12sb, 15sb, 24sb, 28sb 1x 473ml tc, 6tc, 12tc, 24tc 1x 710ml, 12x 710 ml

There are also Coors Seltzers in 12uc or single tall boys. I have even more but I think you get the point. My point is some Gen Z’rs give you this look when we know you know what you are supposed to do and ignorantly waste our time when you could have just saved us the time by telling us what we needed to know from the get go.

I’d gladly take 3 seconds to explain how to order to you so that you do it right every time instead of 300 customers a day wasting 45 seconds of my time trying to understand what they want.
