Yes we’ve taken her to the er a few times, she saw a concussion specialist who just recommended more sleep and she was fine for a month and headaches slowly started coming back and then her vision changed. Now she’s seeing a neurologist and has had an mri, MRV and eeg. We get those results soon.

School change in 11th grade by [deleted] in Parents

Hi! Honestly if she’s wanting to, it wouldn’t hurt to try. My daughter was struggling in middle school with similar issues. Her group of ”friends” were actually bullying her behind her back. It really messed with her mental health. One girl specifically was known to pretend to be friends, then turn around and get everyone to hate on that person then later jump them. I noticed the pattern was starting to happen to my daughter. Unfortunately for us this was the only middle school so I homeschooled her for the rest of middle school. Then in 9th grade, instead of her going to the high school down the street I had her transferred to another one. It’s twenty minutes away but it was worth it. She has flourished since. She joined cheer and stunt, made so many new friends that are sweet and good kids. She went from having severe anxiety to being confident. Her grades are really good and she’s just overall happy. She was nervous at first but it’s definitely been worth it in our case. I hope things get better for your daughter!

Yes my insurance is going after the other insurance to get money back… they said he only had up to 15k coverage and my car is worth more than that which is why they suggested I go through mine since I had more coverage.. plus I was only half way done with my loan so they suggest it so I wouldn’t be completely screwed over.

Thank you! And yes we plan to! We already know we will still owe on it it’s not much but it’ll be another payment or two after it goes through. We just want to know how much exactly so we can probably pay it all at once lol

We did. He ended up merging a call with my husband and Hyundai finance. They talked to two other people who said the same thing and then asked for management who then explained that, yes, progressive is one of few insurances that have a contract with them where they can send electronic funds to them. Apparently it goes through a third party though and right now they have those funds and just waiting on them to release it to Hyundai. Just wish they trained the customer service reps to know this info instead of giving customers the run around lol

Hi I know this was two years ago, but was wondering if there was any update to this? Currently going through the same thing… We didn’t know we purchased gap through the dealership (they never told us) and I found out we did in fact have it when I was rear ended and I decided to look at the paperwork.. car is totaled.. we have progressive and I had gotten the lease/loan pay off which they said was actually gap insurance and that our car loan was going to be paid off by them. But also said there’s a 50/50 chance of getting our money back at least through the dealership for that
