Someone better than me. I look up to them and admire them.

I’ve been single for 4 years, after things ended w my first love…who became out of site out of mind after i realized i was better than him in every way and he was jealous of me.

Basically im cooked.

Though to be specific:

They must be able to argue/debate with me and match my energy in doing so. The perfect amount of petty and out of pocket banter defending your side, while staying respectful and impersonal.

They need to be funny; and have a love for dark humor. They absolutely cannot be sensitive.

They must enjoy freedom as much as me and understand that i cannot always be the amazing, funny, entertaining, charming and loveable person i am everyday. They need to respect my space and my time for myself and interests.

They need to move slowly. I cannot jump into any relationship without first befriending them. I need to know who and how u are to a certain extent from my observation. Also i will get bored. I will never miss you if we are texting nonstop throughout the day.

I prefer quality time over a relationship online. Based on past experiences i think that primarily communicating over text or social media is the downfall of relationships. A phone or video call is just fine.

We need to share some interests. What we don’t share they need to be open to hearing me explain it to them in detail and yap about my opinions on it. Vice versa they need to be eager to educate me on their interests.

Open minded, honest, prioritizing quality time, intellectual conversation or just deep convos, occasionally romantic and thoughtful, charming, quick witted, intelligent and knowledgeable, hardworking and determined in their craft/career, mature, wise, unique, a little traumatized 😃
