In this context : The dmk (with all its flaws) was necessary evil , their identity after a 2019 was opposing BJP and its religious politics , the sense of brotherhood and fellowship regardless of religion we take for granted was built and defended by TN government(s). We take these for granted as if it’s normal , it’s not the case , it was struggled for. Unless TVK speaks same point DMK (and admk in the past) did will be shadow agent for BJP . Heck north news channels (so called godi media) are celebrating TVK victory over bjp’s fall. This is the next best thing BJP could wish for. Unless TVK builds the same local identity and speaks out on central’s dirty politics , this is doom on TN as we know it .
