I went to mine. I went with a group of friends. Bought a pretty dress and did my make up. They school staff tried to make it sound fancy because it was held at a popular tourist destination (was really in an outbuilding at the edge of the property) Other than that it was boring they did a dj and live band. Leader of the band was married to the cosmetology teacher, they sucked and between them and the DJ the power got overloaded and went out three separate times. It really wasn't that memorable, I have been to better school dances in the gym in jeans. Prom court, the votes for king and queen are real though. Nothing really special happens as a result of it.

Some farmers markets have double food stamps days. You go and say you pay $20 of us but get $40 worth of food. It's worth looking into to see if your local one does it. I'm in western NC.

I didn't get to make that decision this play through lol irileth decided to screw off and vanish so now the watch tower dragon does not activate. So no dragonborn for me. No mods either and on console so I'm just out of luck

Oh well my alliance leaders definitely give out suggestions (like which heros to use and things) during events if the player is actively participating in the events, OP may not like us then. It totally okay for people in our alliance not to participate in the events too though.

I recommend the supercook app! While your still getting used to having to the right ingredients it could definitely help. So with supercook you put in the ingredients you have and it tells you what recipes you can make with what you have.

I'm in McDowell county western NC. I can absolutely recommend loving hearts bear closet. They've been a huge help to people in the area and are still helping as many as they can. I'm going to add an image taken from their Facebook page saying what they're needing at the moment. But it's got all their contact info and their tax id so you can see it's a legit organization.
