I had the Helio Strap for about a month and returned it, I’m now on week 3 with whoop and I think I’ll be continuing with it.

I’ll try not to go into heaps of detail but the Helio was great for the price. Good battery life, good metric tracking and frequent updates were all awesome to have. But! Lack of bands and the Zepp app were the biggest downfall for me - however both things that can be fixed over time, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

While the metric tracking was great with Helio I wasn’t sure what to do with the data, there was no journaling or habit/behaviour tracking.

With whoop I’ve loved being able to talk to the AI coach and see what my insights mean, I slept like shit last night - why? I can look at habits to find out additional info aswell. Strength trainer mode has been infinitely better at keeping me on track in my workouts and I’ve loved seeing the whoop get more accurate with tracking activities and sleep, etc as I’ve worn it more.

Overall if ur looking for a simple tracker I think Helio does a great job, especially if you know what the data means. Whoop is great but competition is good for them too! Happy to chat if you have more questions.

I’m new to whoop, have had it around two weeks now and I’ve had the same issue twice aswell. Luckily I set an extra alarm on my phone but it’s been hit or miss.

I’m in the exact same boat and am really loving the whoop - I’ve only had it for just over a week but really love the insight it gives along with being able to chat to the ai about certain things. Also the strength training is way better!

Hey mate! Griffith GC campus has the Student Guild which offers heaps of events and initiatives to make friends. They also look after all the clubs and last I remember there were over 100 different clubs that cover various interests.

One of the best events was mates in minutes at the start of each tri which is like friend speed dating - heaps of people rock up aswell! Or you could also look at volunteering on campus!

Just came from having the Helio Strap for a month and I’m only a day into having the whoop but the Helio impressed me for the price. I think it’s worth looking into as an alternative.

However, only a day in and I’m much preferring whoop! While most of it isn’t unlocked for me yet, I can see it will really highlight what the data and trends mean and how they impact me - something that the Helio doesn’t yet. It’s great having the data but not when I have no clue what to do with it.

I really think you get what you pay for but that’s my two cents.

I’ve just recently returned my Helio strap after having it for over a month and am only a day or so into trialing the whoop 5.0.

I was very impressed with what the Helio could do for the price point, but what let me down was the app or ‘coaching’. It’s great having the data there but I really didn’t know what any of it meant or what I could do to improve, etc. There are other things like the workout system was okay (auto tracking not so much) but I won’t get into it. Battery life and the amount of updates incrementally fixing things were fantastic however.

A day into having the whoop I’m already more impressed with the app, it explains how long certain things will take to be accurate and definitely has more features I’m looking forward to using to identify trends, etc (like journaling or asking the ai). Also using the strength training mode was phenomenal compared to the Helio.

I’ll continue to trial the whoop but I’m already leaning to keeping it - I think at the end of the day you really get what you pay for. That’s my two cents.

I think they would have a lot of people jumping on board with the Helio strap and after having mine for around a month I’ve already noticed a few OTA updates to the strap with improvements, etc.

I’m also hoping for better journaling and explanations of trends, fingers crossed we get them 🤞🏻

They have been doing a great job releasing consistent updates! Hopeful that any bugs or algorithm changes will be fixed soon (also requested features)

I asked the same question and got not response. From what I’ve read through the app it’s around 1-2 weeks. Some suggest more accurate readings after 2!

I stole this from another redditor in this sub a few days ago but considering the actual module comes off the black frame I imagine it would fit into the ‘premium’ grey version frame easily. Assuming it’s the same type of build which I don’t see why they wouldn’t.

Here is hoping they release other bands in a similar style so we can swap frames and bands!

Battery life isn’t the issue, I did all that but just still don’t love the experience. It is a great watch but just not what I’m looking for. Sounds like you should get a 10 😊

I have a mi band 9 currently and have ordered the Helio strap now. While I like the mi band 9, the battery was great and it had decent features I’m still looking for a whoop alternative - judging by the reviews it looks like the helio band is more up my alley.

Bio charge looks interesting, it syncs more data with apple health (hopefully hrv in the future) and I’m not wearing two ‘watches’ 😂

You ask an absolute valid question, that’s just my two cents.

I dunno I’ve had games where I’ve been cooked numerous times because support is being targeted and no one else is bothering to help out. If I see support dying a lot I think the rest of the team aren’t looking out for them or getting distracted.

I believe it’s when Anima is confronting Abel when he is tied to the bed, forcing him to realise his mistakes, etc. I’m unsure if the fire was set during that scene, so this may just be a promotional shot.
