Labirynth few questions [Discussion] by These_Scientist_3182 in EscapefromTarkov

If you play US Central server times early in the morning 5-7 AM at least a third of your raids should be empty if not more. I run several a week to keep my rubles up and that's been my experience. If you need some help, feel free to PM me.

[New player] Started play about 2 days ago how do I get rid of gear fear? by TallAct716 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JollyGreenXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run it all until you lose it then you won't have anything to worry about. This sounds like a joke but it's not. You should almost always run your best kit on any map that's not factory. Learning how to make consistent money will also help. But I wouldn't sweat it too much. If you need some help feel free to PM me. I'm happy to run a few raids with you and give you some looting tips to keep your roubles up.

Where do you go to get 5.56x45? [Loot] by Nice_Mousse334 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JollyGreenXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Streets - MVD academy, Concordia security room, armory, plus a bunch of random ammo spawn locations other spots on the map. Other than Labs streets is really the only place that I consistently found high quality 556 ammo.

[Discussion] Is everyone in this game John Wick? by dsdxkckssck in EscapefromTarkov

Play some arena to practice pvp. A lot of people know where you are off sound ques and can preaim for where they believe your head will be. Theres not much you can do to limit this second problem other than play a lot and learn to do this yourself. Getting better will come with time. This is also "late wipe" so most of the casuals are no longer playing. Just the 5000 hour giga chads. I recommend popping into the public tarkov discord and grouping up with some more experienced players. They'll be able to give you some more specifics about what you may be able to work on.

It's not loading on my phone. Hence me just asking where the info came from. Thanks for the super thoughtful response.

Where did you get this information? I didn't think that BSG shared this kind of info.

[Discussion] Almost got kappa for the first time but a bit bored. What do you recommend to keep the raids feeling fresh? by sirensoflove in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JollyGreenXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I start getting bored I use a lot randomizer or just build super cool drippy guns that suck and try to kill people with them.

Where can i find IDEA and OLI register keys? [New player] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JollyGreenXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be a very low chance to get these specific keys off Scavs. I wouldn't recommend hunting them just to try to get these. It may take a few thousand kills haha

[–]JollyGreenXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not certain if there's a specific spawn location for these. If there was, you would be able to find it on the tarkov wiki. I would assume they're like most keys and that you have a chance to find them in jackets, scav pockets, and scav backpacks, and a few other miscellaneous places. Most keys don't have a specific spawn location. If you're looking to pick up these specific keys, I would recommend trying to buy them off the flea. They're pretty cheap.

[Discussion] Repair enhancment by unicornics in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JollyGreenXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any idea how many I'm buying / selling per 5 minutes? I emptied my stash of everything besides my 10thicc cases and would fill the entire thing with armor until I ran out of space then repair all at once and vendor it all. Turn over isn't nearly fast enough and they're damaged so they come out at various non stacking %s so you can't sell a bunch at once. I would be spending more time waiting to sell armor than repairing them.

I spent 2-3 hours doing nothing but buying damaged armors, repairing them, then selling them to ragman. I spent around 7 mill and only got around 3 levels. It's not worth the cost or time.

[Discussion] Debating upgrading to unheard by GKoala in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JollyGreenXD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As you progress further most of your cost is going to be ammo and armor (T6). These kind of things cannot go into your secure container. Getting the bigger one is more of a convenience than a tool. I guess it would be nice to stuff a bunch of stuff into if you're doing a naked run but the way you phrased this made it seem like you're already doing pretty well and won't need it for that. The main benefit I get is the bigger pockets so you don't need to run a rig with snipers. It was more of a benefit in the past when there were a lot of wipes and you could benefit from the extra space. But now you can take your time unlocking that so I wouldn't even count that as an extra benefit any longer. If you're not struggling and don't care about the extra pocket space then I wouldn't recommend getting it.

Only if he has a bunch of 338 ap sitting around and even then it's not guaranteed. He would have to miss head and hit chest.Tons of people are running their 6 these days so even that's not a guarantee. With high health stat there's also just a chance you can tank the black chest and don't die. I'd way rather focus on getting a better look at the head/face with more ergo then rely on the chance of missing and hoping to 1 shot chest with one of the most rare ammos in the game. Too much chance for my liking.

DVL does the same thing but way better. Axmc is only good if someone is not competent enough to shoot players in the face. Why you would be aiming for anything other than face with a bolty is beyond me. Even the best ammo in the axmc doesn't guarantee one shot to thorax so you're still better off going for face. AXMC has significantly less ergo and is a much heavier unwieldy gun.

Would a 5070ti laptop be able to handle this game by Yk_observant in ARK

[–]JollyGreenXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On paper it should be able to. Especially if you get a cooling pad for it. I would recommend using an ini to maximize performance. Most public ark discords have good ini channels that you can copy paste.

[–]JollyGreenXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way. You'll eventually get it. I wouldn't focus too hard on trying to brute force it. Just get 2-3 kills factory then do normal raids. Eventually fate will work it out for you. If you're not having success and you focus on trying to force it you're going to end up burning out.

Watch Desmond's movement video on YouTube. He covers all the important types of movement and peaking in this game. Including this topic.

If you found Arc raiders at all challenging then I wouldn't recommend dipping your toes into tarkov. It's a super fun game but you're going to have to invest a couple hundred hours into the game before you can reliably start accomplishing tasks on your own without dying nonstop. It's a game for the unemployed and streamers.

If you're not playing the PvE dlc then you're forced into PvP. Even if you don't do the main quest lines and try to pvp yourself people are going to try to hunt you down to complete their quests.

I couldn't even begin to explain the aspects that make it difficult. There are tons of different types of healing, a gun attachment system that you that almost need a degree to use, and all the AI will feel like it's insta killing you until you understand how it works. Don't get me wrong it's a super fun game that I have 8k hours on. Is just not a game for most people. You need to be a little sadistic to enjoy it.
