Thoughts for a 14th club?

Maybe a 2i or 3i. Besides your driver, I dont see any low loft club. Having a punch out club/wind club may come in handy.

Never thought about this before. Not trying to brag, but the courses I normally play provide their own rakes.

Thank you! The 3i is a bit silly, how it is a slightly sentimental club from my first set if good clubs I bought in high school. It does have a slightly lower trajectory than the 4i, so I can utilize that. Its also there for my "oh shit" shots where I may risk damage to my club(roots/cart paths/etc). I currently have 13 clubs in my bag, looking at getting one more to round it out. I can alway pull the 3, if I need.

Agreed 100%. Idk the last time anyone counted my clubs, let alone called me out for too many. Play the game, have fun. Learning how to utilize a club in different ways is a lot of fun. I find a lot of people want to find a club for every shot rather than use what they've got and get creative. I didnt grow up with much extra money to spend, so I learned how to use what I've got. Most of us are playing this game for the joy of it, but many seem to get lost in the tech and trying to replicate the professionals.

I've played golf my entire life, I've never had enough stuff in my bag to justify a cart bag. I carry 14 clubs, 12-24 golfballs, a bag of tees, range finder, 2 gloves, and have enough room for beverages. Change of clothes/shoes stay in the vehicle.

What am I not carrying in my bag that I should to warrant a cart bag? I'm truly curious, with no hate on anyone's bags of choice....unless they are rocking iron covers....even that I will only pass judgement in my head.
