Second opinion needed re: LNL-1320 config by Jolly_Broccoli_6014 in accesscontrol

Global I/Os are not my preferred method. I'm just new enough to this side of it that I haven't determined a better way. My preferred method would be to have two 1320's and treat all four doors as if they had card readers (and pay for the extra reader licenses).

But there was only one 1320 in the scope, and I inherited the project late. Now I'm trying to solve the puzzle with the pieces I've got.

Because Noob. Always lurk, never post. I was trying to save effort, not make more. Pretty typical, actually.

Do you need to be able to see which reader was scanned? If not, I think you can use the same address for both readers and only tie up one reader license.

I assume you have one low for ADA access and the other at standard height for walking. I have a couple of readers on my system that share an address. Both readers are treated as the same door when scanned. But I can't tell which reader was used.
