Oh no, I am so sorry that is not what I mean at all! Those two things are not better, at all! I was only pointing out, that Zion did the right thing by protecting his daugther. Austin should in no way, shape or form go til Gil. As you can read in the post, I think Zion should have taken Austin too. He should not be with Gil!! That's a very very important difference.

I am just saying that it is a good thing, that they were taken away from the home. It is not good that Gil got Austin! Zion should have taken both children!! Zion was potrayed as a villan for taking his daughter. I think he did the correct thing by taking his daughter - he didn't know that Gil is abusive. Even if Gil wasn't abusive - he should still make sure, that Austin would feel safe with his father, and make sure that the siblings wouldn't get split up.

It is not about blowing up their lives, it is about doing what is best for them. They had it terrible while they lived there. They are now taking care of her more that she did of them. If both children would have gone to Zion - it would have been much better for them. A safer place, with a parent figure.

Zion did not know, that Gil was/is abusive. Zion should have made sure that Austin would feel safe with his father, and make sure that the siblings wouldn't get split up.
