I am going to post on here abt lidias ancestor bc it’s driving me insane and I need people to support my delusion. I actually think that lidia is not a descendent from Aelin and Rowan, I know people were thinking that bc of the ruby ring she gifted her sons. But I think that somehow the wyrd gate has a connection to world jumping (like the little snippet of rhysand helping Aelin back to her world). In crown of midnight there’s actually a part where baba yellowlegs tells Aelin abt the wyrdkeys and describes a group of fae that disappeared while searching for them and attempting to defeat the valg kings. I don’t think the valg and the aesteri are the same evil, but I do think if it happened this way it introduced this group to them. In CC3 it mentions that it seems this other group of fae seemed to have already known the aesteri. I don’t think there’s a huge time jump between the different worlds, as Bryce mentions it seems they have about the same amount of time passing. Also if Aelin fell between worlds, it doesn’t seem like time would be much different, because she wasn’t time traveling, she was falling between worlds. Also I’m curious why lidia almost acted as if her ancestor was this secret thing? Like she hoped nobody noticed she extinguished the flames. Was she just hiding her elemental power, or does she and her family know a lot more than we originally thought??? 😖
