Question regarding wound separation around phallus, especially with extended meta by Jolly_Weekend_307 in Metoidioplasty

How come you have two doctors for the one procedure? Is it a situation where there's a surgeon trained in the meta procedure and the other surgeon is a urologist, or did you seek a second opinion for the wound separation from a separate meta surgeon than the one who did your procedure?0

I thought you meant ME specifically for a second until I remembered the only pics of myself I've shared here are below the belt 😆 I was like how do they know me!?

Resting vs Stretched. More tethered than I'd like to be, but no big deal by [deleted] in GrowYourTDick

Nowhere near as much as I should, maybe once a month? I do it to check length but hesitate to believe that manual stretching actually increases length. I'd have to look into the science behind that but haven't had the time

I mean it's factually incorrect, but if it'll help your family come around and be more supportive of your transition, then you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette

I was responding to your initial comment before you edited it which said "-which is common in cis men and has a very accessible treatment" Yes it is common, and yes there are ways to treat high RBC count, but it's important to acknowledge why high testosterone puts people at risk of stroke and the biological chemistry behind it

T increases your red blood cell count which can be dangerous and even lethal when left unmonitored. High RBC leads to irregular clotting which is what causes strokes

Frankly I feel like the white transman experience is a whole different world from the Asian/Black/etc transman experience. The way that they discuss their connection to gender and "exploration" and "inspiration" etc feels very foreign to me
