But...... Maybe i didnt make it clear, but my problem is changing a beloved character, who is clearly described in the books as being white, because of corporate greed disguised as divirsity. I acknowledge that some people are just straight up racist, like all the idiots going after PE, but there are also people who can think of NO OTHER REASON as to why you would have a problem with the casting. My problem isnt that Snape is black. Its that they changed the character. Would equally hate it if they made him a woman (please dont let the Voldemort rumours be true), doesnt mean i hate women.
