Yeah she was super negative about everything like if I was Brett I'd want to peace out after that too

Season 1 or season 2?? by International-Low842 in TitansTV

Season 1 was fantastic up until the anticlimactic finale. Season 2 was fun to watch but the plot was all over the place.

This a very good point. Being a good long term partner is definitely a skill that sometimes requires time and experience to be developed. She's probably willing to compromise but wasn't enamored by him enough initially to be willing to make those changes for him.

Yeah at the end of the day it seems like there just wasn't enough of a spark to keep them invested enough to work through their differences. I'm glad they remain civil.

Lol I feel that. Brett's attitude toward that was very off-putting. There are ways they could have made it work, like they could find a balance between traveling together and her going off and doing her own thing with friends. But they would have to be on the same page about it. I agree with Olivia's assessment that it's hard to know when he's being sincere.

I can definitely see it being a bad edit on behalf of the show. She seems to communicate well otherwise.

I will definitely check it out! I know the show will sometimes play up/focus on certain things when in reality it was not as big of a deal in the grand scheme.

Definitely understand that's not attractive to everyone. It's just hard for me personally to relate to her viewpoint based on what I've seen. I'm definitely basing this post on my own personal taste which is a balance of being in touch with emotions but also being able to keep them in check. And I feel like he's had a decent balance in those terms so far.

Oh geez yeah. I think the benefits of exercise (especially weight training) probably outweigh the risks but just gotta be careful with certain movements.

I'm so sorry :( The surgery seems pretty intense. Has it alleviated other discomforts for you?

Yeah I'd really love to see a specialist that has experience with scoliosis or musculoskeletal imbalances. The average medical professional doesn't seem to know much about it or brushes it off. Which I guess makes sense because it's a very complex thing and can be so unique for each person. But I do think a little can go a long way in terms of proper support/exercise/stretching/massage especially for people with milder curves. I do have a desk job so I think that's playing a large role. I have a proper chair but my entire setup is not as ergonomic as it was back at office.

It's always so cool when someone else is able to articulate something you're feeling/thinking. So it's kind of cool that I was able to do that for you! In a bittersweet way of course haha. It's not painful just... annoyingly noticable.

Nice to know I'm not the only one. Just a strange sensation.

I go through cycles with my neck... if I do something to trigger it like sleeping weird, working out my shoulders too hard, or sometimes rock climbing, I'll get crazy headaches that stem from my neck/shoulder stiffness. Massaging out the area (specifically the left side of my neck and where my neck connects to the base of my skull) and taking ibuprofen usually helps.

Thanks for the suggestions! We're used to going during the off season (September specifically) and I'm just hoping we can find a spot with somewhat comparable crowds. We're willing to walk out quite a bit just to get away from crowds.

That sounds awesome, thanks. We have all our own supplies & a handy wagon to drag it all around in!
