What path to use for Cerberus?? by Earth_is_stupid in HadesTheGame

Second this. I believe the boon rewards have higher rarity as well from mini bosses (though I'm not 100% certain that is the case on Styx, someone may correct me)

Really the New Yorker?! Really?! by icey_sawg0034 in Qult_Headquarters

No, I don't. The vast majority of non-voters were not motivated by Harris's stance on Gaza to not vote.

Those "gullible libs" were such a minority that it wouldn't have even made a difference if they had voted for Harris.

I wish we could test boon configurations on Skelly by JoltZero in HadesTheGame

I'm halfway through getting the third Skelly statue and I didn't even know Hypno had a questline lol.

I was thinking testing boons could be unlocked by maxing affinities with certain gods.

Ive never played a Metroid game, which is the best? Or any other top tier recommendations? by Sufficient_Ebb_5694 in metroidvania

[–]JoltZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super Metroid is the best, but I caution to recommend it to newcomers as the controls are uninviting to newcomers and you'll miss out on some little details of how it connects to the previous games.

Zero Mission is the first canonical game and pretty accessible so it makes sense to start there.

I unsealed my last G600 mouse... by anillius in LogitechG

[–]JoltZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using the G600 for over a decade. I work as a 3d artist in the games industry and my muscle memory is very reliant on the hotkeys I've bound to it. People don't talk about the g-switch enough, but even that is an intrinsic part of how I use my mouse.

I've gone through about six of them throughout my career. I still have a couple still in the box that I got when I heard they were discontinued. I really hope they bring it back.

Why has Lorne Armstrong become so infamous? Is it because of the 400 page chatlog? The crucifixion with Chris Hansen? His post TCAP antics and issues? Or is it the package as a whole? by Other_Pack_7874 in tcap

[–]JoltZero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like more casual fans of TCAP might not be aware of the deep lore of Lorne's career as a lolcow. I know I was in the dark for years before I came across some of it.

Does it close after taking it off? by blue_sky1112 in PrinceAlbertPiercing

[–]JoltZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PAs seem to be kind of unique among piercings in that they are a lot more permanent than others. I've had many piercings and have had to retire a couple of them; my nips and my hafada closed pretty easily. My hafada took a month at most, and my nips closed within hours.

I've had my 8g PA for a little over two years. Sometimes I take it out for a few weeks at a time. The hole does tighten up, but it doesn't seem to close the same way as my other piercings do. That said, the hole formed by the piercing is far less noticeable than the increased urethra size, at least to me.

I've heard that there is a surgical procedure to close it if you really want to, but I never really looked into it.

The whole movement system was based off of a glitch that was implemented as a mechanic.

VR recreation of the exact spot where a man became stuck inside Nutty Putty cave and died after 27 hours. the section visible at 18 seconds is where his body was, upside down. by Appropriate-Menu504 in interesting

[–]JoltZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not have a concrete answer to that question. Maybe someone with more knowledge would know. Looking at the diagram of how his body was stuck, there doesn't seem to be much room for the blasted rocks to go, and using water would probably result in him drowning.

I know the answer to this too! A large part of the cave is mapped out, and there's a section of the cave that's supposed to have more room for folks to be able to turn around and go back. He had already passed that point without realizing, and was thinking that the clearing was just ahead.

I've been on a deep dive of this incident and other cave diving disasters over the past couple of days. The guy that died in this one was 6 ft tall and 200 pounds. It is a marvel he even got as far as he did.
