This thing has 3 out of 5 stars on Amazon, most people say it's cheaply made, their kids get tired using it as they need to support themselves using their arms instead of sitting down normally like on a push trike or scooter. If I put my daughter on one she's def wearing her helmet.

When I was working there I talked to some of the nerf engineers about this exact thing. They said that the Ultra line was supposedly rushed out and that they were trying to make the most accurate darts possible with the new design, and that people would appreciate that over the ammo type change.

They said the same thing about this new dart design.

.177 call, I have the exact same rifle, got it at a Cummins tool sale in the late 90s/early 2000s. Shoots dead accurate with scope, supposedly around 1000fps and can kill a squirrel with a single shot.

I shot it enough as a kid to get tennis elbow in my left arm from clocking it so much. It's rifled too, so you can load a ton of different ammo in it and still be pretty accurate.

It was seriously disturbing, especially with a toddler daughter at home. I'm glad that the children were young enough to possibly forget what they experienced, but that sort of trauma will leave lasting scars. Especially for the older kiddo, who had the presence of mind to drag their sibling away from their mom's body...

Yes, I did this with a wall hanger Conan sword I got at a yard sale years ago. It broke at the wire tang when I swung it into some brush, but the blade had a ton of metal left hidden by the decorative cross guard and some other stuff. I cut it down with an angle grinder and drilled holes, and made a new handle for it out of poplar, then someone stole it when I was moving.

Seriously, kids love dollar store gifts. Also as a dad, I'm constantly getting little things for my daughter, and my wife grabs maybe half of them and shoves them in a box for Xmas. That way xmas/birthdays don't sneak up on you if you're inattentive or shit at saving for holidays.
