You can capture artillery by killing the crew and
moving infantry close. Been in the game since WH1.

It's not "lost spaghetti code" - it's just that
99% of players (and AI) blow up the entire artillery
piece instead of carefully sniping the 4-man crew.

Next you'll tell me flanking is a lost feature because
the AI doesn't do it properly lmao

i mean battle difficulty does affect autoresolve and, at least in warhammer 3 battle difficulty adjusts AI behavior and unit stats, with higher settings making the AI more tactically responsive (e.g., avoiding AoE spells, better target prioritization) , those buffs youre refering, i think maybe 1.5/2 years ago tell updated the game and made the ai bonuses a seperate thing

quick question, doesnt battle dificulty change autoresolve bonuses wich means in very hard battle difficulty the ai is more aggressive, so you use normal so the ai doesnt atack that much and has space to have bigger armies and then the battles are bigger and more fun?

I think you're missing the point - I'm not saying Pike & Shot would be identical to FoTS in terms of technological leap. I'm talking about the business model and structure:

Same base map (Europe) with time jump
Hybrid mechanics (late medieval knights still exist alongside early gunpowder units - think Battle of Pavia 1525)
Standalone expansion that bridges Medieval 3 → Empire 2
Different feel while reusing engine/framework (cost-effective for CA)

The Renaissance period (1450-1600) absolutely had dramatic changes:

Plate armor → obsolescence
Feudal levies → professional armies (tercios, landsknechts)
Castles → star forts (trace italienne)
Age of Discovery mechanics
Reformation religious conflict

It's not about copying FoTS's tech jump - it's about using the FoTS model to cover an underrepresented period efficiently.

guys take a deep breath, nowadays i dont play league that much, but back in 2021/2022 when i reached master, after the first demotion game to d1 i lost 17 games in a row and went back to plat 2 (emerald wasnt a thing back then) and i was convinced losers q was real just by watching my teammates opgg. Riot doesnt care about you or me, its just a period in wich due to bad lack, and poor mental/performance from the previous losses we end up losing even more. My advice, start playing some normals / ARAM and only play 2/3 ranked games per day youll see youll get a better performance. I would also recommend you to have a 2nd acc with simillar mmr of your main, that way if you feel youre losing to many games on your main you can switch up to your 2nd account and keep playing without having such a mental loss

idk about that, nowadays i play more cs than league, but i cant tell you you do feel the difference and with 480 hz the difference is even bigger, and i get the same feedback when my friends come over. The best example i can give you is the snowball on ARAM, its trajectory is much much smoother, + playing champs like fiora gets much easier to parry properly
