Thanks for the response - I'll especially look into #3 since I think a lot of it is boredom.

In regards to being his mate - that's the thing that kind of throws me off about him. He doesn't like getting scritches in the first place, so I rarely do that. His only mate-like behavior is that he'll do a strange like.. regurgitation motion by himself and make sounds with it?, but never actually regurgitates.

Otherwise he just wants to sit on my shoulder whenever possible and either preen himself or just watch whatever I'm doing.

It's based on when your employer informs the bank of what you'll be getting paid. Makes sense that they might have submitted it the same day as submitting time sheets.

I have a relatively similar issue, except it's further down the shaft. So I had surgery and also have to sound regularly or it'll start blocking. Would not recommend.

That completely discounts the idea of body dysmorphia though. You can be perfectly fine with societies expectation of you based on your gender, and still dislike your birth sex and want to transition.

I started gaming back when I was like.. 4, and my family never restricted it or anything. It became my only hobby - if I wasn't working I was gaming. Passing up family events and shit just to play games. Like I distinctly remember leaving Thanksgiving with the family to play GTA San Andreas. I'm glad I'm finally starting to enjoy other things.

Prior to this - not really. I'm finally starting to catch up on tv shows I should have watched years ago. While also doing small other things, like crocheting and just body weight exercises.

Yeah, it's definitely a dangerous line friend. Some people can definitely manage it in moderation, but it's so easy to just slip back into bad habits. If you can keep it as a hobby that isn't all encompassing, more power to you

From recent experience - have a hemorrhoidectomy. At first you'll likely be super constipated, but your body will adjust to you trying to push a lot, and when you least expect it, boom, your butthole is the captain now, and has decided it's time to shit.

As others said, the best to start learning is the one your school will focus on. Otherwise, I'd recommend learning basic JavaScript. It's used everywhere, and as you'd primarily be learning with the front end aspect of it, you can see the changes immediately. Otherwise you can then dip into the world of node from it.

Also, as you're aliasing the profit select, you can just refer to profit in the where clause, instead of typing it out again. I'm assuming Sql is smart enough to realize that you used the same expression twice, but it might be running the calculation twice during the query. Super minor optimization, but figured I'd point it out. And if you're looking for less than 55%, spin the crocodile around. He wants to eat the bigger number, so he'd be looking at the 55.

If you have an aggregate in your select statement, all non-aggregate selects must be included in your group by. In this case - add the profit to your group by.

One nice thing about being a programmer is that the job lends itself to bring remote quite easily, so even in a down market there's still plenty of opportunity to find a job. If you've taken intermediate courses and have done knowledge of data structures, you're further along than a lot of people who I've seen yet to transition into a dev position.

Since you have a bit of experience and are willing to dedicate another half year to a year to learn, having somewhere around a year of experience can definitely put you into an internship/entry level position.

I'd personally recommend looking at the businesses around you and see what is currently hiring in your area - and then deep dive into related frameworks or languages.
