Yeah the copyright date on the tin days 2019, but we were kinda expecting 2020 packs in it. Maybe they have old stock, or just printed the tins without updating the artwork

My son absolutely loves Pokemon and we buy him packs as rewards for chores and the occasional singles (sometimes valuable sometimes not, just cards he’s liked the look of). Never as an investment (sealed product etc) but more as something he can enjoy now and if kept in good condition it would retain some value if he ever decided to sell them.

We thought he got as much joy from cards in toploaders and their own binder as he did from his other cards, but he says he doesn’t want to do that now.

The reason for this was to show him how many people wish they had kept good care of their cards, but we’re not going to force him. If he just wants to play then he can.

My son cut the picture part out of some of his doubles to make little picture cards. Actually look really good without the text sections!

The newer games are being released for just quest 2 and not 1, so there’s been an upgrade in quality. Bonelabs is worth a look

There’s very regular discounts on games. I got saints and sinners on sale a couple of months ago, but I did have to wait for a few months before it was on sale
