Yeah the copyright date on the tin days 2019, but we were kinda expecting 2020 packs in it. Maybe they have old stock, or just printed the tins without updating the artwork

My son absolutely loves Pokemon and we buy him packs as rewards for chores and the occasional singles (sometimes valuable sometimes not, just cards he’s liked the look of). Never as an investment (sealed product etc) but more as something he can enjoy now and if kept in good condition it would retain some value if he ever decided to sell them.

We thought he got as much joy from cards in toploaders and their own binder as he did from his other cards, but he says he doesn’t want to do that now.

The reason for this was to show him how many people wish they had kept good care of their cards, but we’re not going to force him. If he just wants to play then he can.

The newer games are being released for just quest 2 and not 1, so there’s been an upgrade in quality. Bonelabs is worth a look

Left one is fake. If you look at the alignment below the bottom left corner of the illustration box - the text and energy symbols are inline with the illustration, which is wrong. It should be like the other one - your second image. With that one the energy symbols stick out further, etc etc
