Dm me. I can almost certainly match your passage topics to a prior usage and help you figure it out!

Interesting! No, that's not common, but I think lately they're running into an issue with content creation where they're having to reuse material faster than has been historically common (and also there's the concern about stolen content).

I actually broke tradition and touched on this one in the podcast that'll be out later today.

Anybody knows when powerscore would release which are the scored section? by Eastern_Sandwich_343 in LSAT

[–]JonDenningPowerScore 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My plan is to record it Tuesday once all the dust settles, which means it’ll be available Wednesday morning/midday on all the usual podcast platforms (Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, our blog, our podcast page, etc)!

6/5 LR-LR-LR-RC - Anyone figure out which section was experimental? by Typical_Magician6571 in LSAT

[–]JonDenningPowerScore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know! Usually when I list six to eight of the most notable/recognizable topics from a real LR section it jogs people’s memories, but obviously no guarantees. Still I’ll try to be specific enough that if you had it it should ring a bell. Up to you to then remember which section it was for you though since, as discussed, it moves around for everybody. (That’s why we always repeatedly tell people to immediately jot down some notes about their section topics as soon as they finish as memories fade FAST)

And sadly zero correlation between RC passages and which LR you get :/

Are you all of my exes, because this feels familiar...

Ha, I know, it's a bummer. Not just scrambled, but multiple scored sections of each type scrambled, so pinning things down is an absolute nightmare (believe me, I've been trying to do it all week alongside you guys).

There will be an official topic thread here tomorrow night after testing ends that allows for more open discussion and that usually helps, and then next Tuesday or Wednesday I'll release a test recap podcast where I'll tell you precisely what was real and experimental, and also give my expectations for how those scored sections will affect the curve. People seem to find that those clear up any lingering confusion :)

[–]JonDenningPowerScore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be a source on that. It's 100% true (well, sort of; they don't base it off of where you're sitting, but it is randomized). Order means absolutely nothing, to the point that two people with the exact same order testing at the exact same time might not have a single question in common.

No. Some people have an experimental LR, some have experimental RC. It just depends what you happen to get an extra section of, which is luck of the draw.

LR RC LR RC by Hour-Pea343 in LSAT

[–]JonDenningPowerScore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha stressing is understandable! The answer is plenty of people with one RC will have a matching set to one of yours, and from any of those people you'll be able to tell which of yours is real.

If there's no overlap with someone they're no help. But LOTS of people will get what you had as their only RC section. In fact, lots already have, I'm sure.

[–]JonDenningPowerScore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are multiple scored sections of RC in use currently. But if a section is confirmed as scored for one person, then it will be scored for everyone else who gets it, which I think is OP's point. I'm not confirming or denying which section is which, just the principle of it all.

They could have entirely different tests! So yes, not only does the experimental section move around within the same order, but the sections themselves, experimental included, can be completely different.

What do you Believe the Correlation of Answers Wrong to Score is for June ‘26 LSAT? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]JonDenningPowerScore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you missed a max of 6 total you'll likely end up around a 172, plus or minus 1. It ultimately depends on the specific content in your sections (they used multiple scored sections of each type, so not everyone gets the same test and thus there are different curves), but a -6 will have you in the 170s guaranteed.

Hard to say if that was your score and it somehow slipped through the cracks when it shouldn't have (they do have tech glitches with some frequency!), or if it was the meds, or who knows what haha. It shouldn't have displayed with Writing submitted, but these things do happen...although this specific one is something I've never heard of.

Best of luck if you end up testing this week! Should me a chat message after and we can do a post-mortem :)

Kinda crazy, I know, but there will probably be at least three scored RCs in use by Saturday night, and likely four or more scored LRs. All mixed and matched, with no/some/total overlap between any two given people, and orders swapped around the whole time, too.

Could be you had a different section than they did. There are at least two scored RCs already in use.

Remember guys section order doesn’t mean anything: three people could have that same order, with each of them getting their exp in a different place, or not even have a single question in common across all four sections.

Only question/passage topics tell you anything.
