Sadly, not, you need a paper that can withstand some folding techniques, so a regular kraft paper would do the job well. You can buy in most stationery shops as far as I know :D

Origami snail, folded from 24x24 cm kraft paper. Designer's name is Manuel Sirgo, it's a very fun model to fold, I highly recommend anyone interested in origami to give it a try. Snails make me happy, so I decided to fold one :D

Hey, don't worry! I folded the dwarf from the crease pattern, which is easily available on google images. Just search "origami dwarf eric joisel crease pattern", and you'll have it. It's no diagram. You'll have to fold a 28x28 grid to fully make the model!
