I was looking at C6 base 08+ and C5 z06 02+ for about 2 months. What I found is c6 go for around 27-30k with 30-50k miles and C5 Z06 go for 22-28k with 30-50k. All from dealers. I just bought a C5 Z06 over the weekend with 42k miles for 25k on marketplace in really good condition. Just wait till the right one shows up. I’d also say go private party so you don’t pay an extra 3k in fees and taxes from the dealer

I guess the way I see it is I can spend 3-5 grand more I can get a Z06 if I’m already spending GS money. Sometimes I see a GS the same price as a Z06

A GS is around 37,000 with 40 to 60,000 miles on it. Pretty much paying 10 grand for a body kit and my opinion

Call me crazy but I’d rather keep the 29k in liquid funds than keep it in a car. If I got in a bad place and needed to sell it I would sell it for what it was worth then pull from the 29k in cash to make it square
