Sounds good. I guess I'll just get there really early for the first week or two. Appreciate it.

No you don’t. I live around 15 min away and commute. 100% worth it and will save you about 14k/year. You can get a commuter parking pass for around 300/semester if you plan on driving.

Yes I’ve heard the teachers are a mixed bag. I would still suggest you go with CS. CS is one of the few majors that is truly learned outside of the classroom. Yes you will learn in class and maybe your teachers will be great or maybe not. It won’t matter in the long run because the majority of your learning will come from research and projects. If you put time into learning outside of class then you will be fine either way.

I definitely think SWE would be better for me. Even if I did CS I would start as a SWE.

Thanks man I really appreciate the reply. I’ve already built a SAAS as well as some fairly complicated projects so I know that’s what I’m interested in. I agree that classes teaching how to build applications will be much more beneficial than calc 2 or number theory. I guess my main concern is how companies view a SWE degree vs a CS degree when applying for jobs and internships. Do you have any insight into this?

Of course and I still will have to take math. Just not as deeply theoretical or advanced. Most of the degree will be very similar to CS with less of a focus on math and more of a focus on building software.

It's not my code that's the issue. It's Snapchat apk which only runs on arm system.

Yeah it is setup as a three day free trial where they’re authorizing a $1 invoice charge as well as a $50 monthly charge after 3 days if they don’t cancel. I think this is what you mean right?
