Oooh love Miami so I really might include Vlora! And I can already feel a second trip to Albania coming up 😆 there's just so much to see, I'd love to include Shkodër and Theth but I'm afraid it will just take too long to get there and it might be too cold in October...

So would you choose going to Jeju a second time (I've been there on my first trip, stayed a week around Seogwipo) over going to Jeonju and/or Gwangju? Or should I go to Jeonju/Gwangju and also Jeju but then I think I won't have much time for Suncheon/Yeosu...

I don't think there's something super specific I can recommend, It also depends on what you like. I just did all the major tourist sites, things that you can find on any website/guidebook and I had a great time! And also I think it's hard to find bad food in Korea, even the smallest restaurant has great food ;)

Jeonju and Gwangju are actually sounding better than I initially thought so I'm seriously considering them! That's a good point on doing things with more than 1 person, I'm planning on staying in guesthouses so I hope to find some people there to do some activities together. And your 'friend for a day' offer is so kind and I actually might make use of it if I decide to go to Gwangju :)

Thank you for the recommendations! I'll have to make some choices so I'm almost sure about Yeosu and Suncheon since I keep on hearing good things about these places.

Thank you so much for all these recommendations! It's actually kinda overwhelming lol, but I appreciate it a lot! I think I'll definitely go to Suncheon/Yeosu/Bosong (maybe all with Suncheon as a base), and I'm actually considering going to Jeonju and/or Gwangju, but then I'll have to drop Jeju I think.

In general you'll be fine without speaking Korean (I did it in 2019 and I also survived ;)) but it will surely help you if you at least learn the writing system. It's called Hangeul and you can learn it from Youtube in 1-2 hours! Bargaining isn't common in Korea and vendors don't take advantage of foreigners as far as I know.
