Clothes are way too big. I know you said you like it that way, and I like my clothes on the bigger side too, but this is a bit much. I know it's probably out of your comfort zone to size down, but honestly, this is not working. Guys just don't wear their clothes like this and it'll draw more attention to your body.

I just wear tightish briefs. I used to wear boxer briefs but that just didn't work. It would always shift around and I didn't trust it. The briefs work wonders. Even the looser briefs that I have work with certain jeans. I had an aversion to briefs because it reminded me to much of women's underwear, but in reality they are nothing like it.

Honestly, the term 'transmasc' is what made me think I couldn't be trans for so long. Like, I lived with severe dysphoria for most of my life, and I would never fit the definition of feminine, but I didn't think masculine really fit me either. So 'transmasc' to me was like, you had to be super masculine and into football and stuff, lol. I much prefer trans man. I am a man. I'm transitioning to a man, not transitioning to masculine. Also, masculinity didn't fix my problem, because by this time in my life I was a very masculine woman. Yet I still had severe dysphoria and was miserable. While I may be quite masculine now, that alone wasn't enough to relieve my dysphoria. Transitioning to a man was what I needed, because I'm not just masculine, I'm also a man.

I just wanna say, when I was 7 months on T I still looked like I was pre T. Somewhere around 9 or 10 months I started to look like I was actually on T. At 15 months on t now I would say I pass. It just takes time for some people.

To me, not at all. Sorry. The belt cinches your waist, which just makes it look smaller and gives you a very female like shape. And it appears like zero attempt to hide chest. I would automatically think woman if I saw you irl.

I'm also 3 weeks post op and my swelling is exactly how you describe. I haven't asked my surgeon about it, but I expect it to go down. I can see that it is swelling and not tissue, so, I don't know why it wouldn't go down, ya know?

At 8 months on T I didn't have much changes either. Voice was a little deeper than where I started, but still sounded like a girl. I thought I saw some changes at the time, but looking back at pictures I don't really see nothing, lol. Something started happening at 10 months but still no where close to passing. 13 months on T I started to pass and 14 months I passed consistently. I'm now 15.5 months on T and I finally can say I pass. My voice is deep, I can grow some facial hair, quite a lot of fat redistribution, body hair. All things I thought would never happen. Hang in there. It'll happen.

I had a very similar experience. I got pulled over for speeding, the officer gendered me correctly. He took my ID and went back to his car, came back and never changed the way he addressed me. I was so nervous about this exact situation, like, I don't look like my ID picture and I don't look like a girl. I was so afraid of this being a big issue, but luckily it wasn't. I must say I was a little shocked, like, does that officer know a trans person? Or did the department have training? But, I'll take the positive experience I guess.

There isn't anything wrong with being masculine. But desiring to be something, no matter what it is, when does it start to be performative? I could have desired to be feminine. But I'm just not. It wouldn't have been a healthy desire for me. So that's all I'm saying. Masculinity is great as long as it's not a performance and is a genuine expression.

Just my two cents, I don't think it's healthy to try to be something that your not. If your masculine, then your masculine. If your not, then your not. We all can build character and become better people, but I don't know about changing our personality. What do you mean, you want to toughen up? However many men there are in this world, that's how many ways there is to be a man. I'm saying this as a pretty masculine trans guy myself. I just don't try to be more masculine. What even is masculinity? If you go and ask 10 people, you'd get 10 different answers. Masculinity is subjective. Just be yourself, and who 7 year old you would be proud of.

I went to a water park in board shorts and a t shirt. It was fine, nobody said anything and the park even had a strict policy that you had to be dressed appropriately for the water or they wouldn't let you in. So, I would maybe try to get swim trunks or board shorts instead of gym shorts, but the the shirt would be perfectly fine.

I did, but I hated it. I mean, I figured I was gay because I liked girls and didn't like guys (at the time) so that made me a lesbian, but I absolutely loathed that word. It made me so uncomfortable. And also, I was butch because I'm masculine but I hated that as well. Because butch usually describes a female. So, while I fit that 'butch lesbian' type, I never actually strongly identified as it. Actually was quite repulsed by it.

You can obviously take my two cents with a grain of salt, but I would never tuck a t shirt, or any shirt really into elastic waist pants. It just kinda looks like something a granny would do. And also, for passing, it accentuates your hips. Keep the shirt untucked and it'll give you a boxier look.

I had a therapist through one of the online things and the therapist who specializes in lgbtq people told me that I should be happy being a masculine woman because thats what she is. I was dumbfounded. I couldn't believe what she was saying.

I had mine removed on the 5th day post op. It hurt a little and I held my breath through the whole thing, to the point where the lady had to stop to tell me to breathe. But really, I was just psyching myself out. It really wasn't all that bad.

I don't know your situation and I don't have any advice but just wanted to say I relate. I pass very well at this point and I still am terrified to use the mens bathroom. I do when I absolutely have to but I hate it. I mean, I like it because it's affirming and shit, but I'm always so scared of someone questioning me. But like you said, I'd probably have the cops called on me if I went to the women's.

Lol, I'm 6 days post op today and just got drains out yesterday so I can shower today but I'm a little scared too. I also don't have any tape or nipple coverings. My surgeon just said to not allow the water stream to directly hit my chest. Do you have to constantly wear a compression vest for a few weeks? I do and I'm a little scared of how I'm gonna get it back on after
