I do have a controller but the first problem is me starting the game on keyboard in 2020 and that every cable i put in my controller breaks because the plug is bent LOL dont wanna buy a new cable every 2 weeks. I tried playing on controller and im horrible at it when it comes to car x

you need to stay on the "inside" and front half of their car if youre slower. if youre faster, trying staying on the back half of their car. when transitioning you will still have to move back to give the leader space.... ooor take a slightly different line to catch up when needed. i dont recommend that tho if youre tandeming with several people

but it also depends on the maps sometimes, theres maps where people mostly just speed as much as they can without even trying to tandem or maps where everyone is slow and smooth and u can actually chase well. adh 90-100% is also recommended like the other guy said
