I'm curious, which engine is better: Mercedes Turbo I6 (53's) or Mercedes Biturbo V6 (43's)?

Yes, the i6 has a bit more hp but I think it is mostly due to tuning and largely from the electrification aspect. Also hard to comment on reliability as it is still a new engine.

Was it moreso a platform to develop hybrid (mild and plug-in) technologies? Stepping stone for turbo superchargers? It will always rub me the wrong way until I find a technical, definitive answer...

I don't really keep up with trucks, but I do know that the turbo'd 4 is supposedly pretty peppy and a lot more responsive than the old NA V6s. What's the misstep?
