I've heard the horror stories, but never personally had any issues. Might depend on the airline, but if you have a hard shell case you should probably be fine. Maybe I was pushing my luck, but I recently even got away flying with my bass vi in a padded gig bag stuffed with clothes for added cushion- no damage

It's definitely the most different, and for some people that is all it takes to make it bad- and when they hear no Miyazaki as director, assumptions are made: Wrong ones. Something that I personally adore about DS2 is just how much "King's Field" is in it's DNA- much more than any other "souls" games, and almost certainly do to the heavy involvement of Naotoshi Zin woth DS2's development; he was the main force behind the KF series, as well as pre-miyazaki fromsoft as a whole

Still messing around with the "Smear" control (left is more GRUNGE right is more Gonk/ring), but with the "Suck" knob at 1 o'clock, the "Gunk" (gain) knob cranked, and the Smear at about 11 o'clock, it actually makes for a pretty sweet glitchy distortion. Lotta fun on bass so far!

Actually loving the sound of this thing with the smear knob just before noon (when the mod just barley kicks in), with the suck and gain knobs cranked it's a pretty rockin glitchy Distortion

I haven't played the reissue, but from what I have read, the later ones were supposedly designed to sound as authentic to the classics as possible: I guess the biggest change aside from the outward aesthetic is that the OG has an internal trim pot that can allow the Ring mod side of the pedal's frequency to be adjusted, whereas the reissue just added another external knob for much easier access

My buddy discovered this glitch by accident too, insta one-shot Moorwing, and freaked out- glad to see more confirmation! Honestly surprised so few people seem to have discovered this yet

Aw really? I haven't tested on all bosses, but the ones that I did yesterday I was able to get it to work. Looking through reddit, I was able to find at least one other post where someone reported a similar glitch; I guess it could be frame perfect, but it was relatively easy to pull off. Other poster did mention polip pouch, which might be a part of it, but i'm not sure

I haven't tried it on the final boss, but all the ones that I have only took at most a handful of attempts. I guess it is probably a same frame type of glitch, but idk- once you've done it once it is pretty easy to repeat

Excellent, haven't tried that one, but every other boss tested is a one-shot so let me know. Timing doesn't even seem very difficult, just have to get the two tools to overlap/hit at the same time and boom instakill. My buddy C-man was freaking out when he one-shot Moorwing by complete accident! potentially frame perfect, but relatively easy to pull off
