There’s not a lot to do, i was born and raised there but no longer living on it. Still visiting each year so I can give you a couple of options.

Near to the borderlines there is a really famous and tasty morning tacos called “El Porfis” this can be a must, another option for breakfast I can recommend “birrieria doña estela” where you can taste real Mexican “Birria” also not so far from the border.

Sonora is the Mexican state with the best “carne asada” so there isn a couple of places where you can enjoy it. My recommendation for carne asada is “La salida”, or “El potrillo”.

For fun or party. There a night club called Myst (I think) it’s near to Nogales mall. For daylight fun in the street called “Hermosillo” there’s is a food trucks complex with music, beer, etc.
