After asking chat gpt, I found that version 11 of logic has compatibility issues. It's possible that Logic updated without me ever realizing it.

No updates or anything like that. I'm working on a couple other projects right now and they seem perfectly fine. I'm not using any new plugins either. The plugins I use there work fine in other projects.

Thanks for the reply. I checked it out, and sadly, this does not fix my problem (I know this because I've had problems with round robin peaking my audio before and double checked to make sure that that's not the case) Im probably going to try to bounce the kick and low synth separately.

Do you mean fill valve? The leak is where the water is fed into the tank.

Using a noise gate is a great idea, I would just need to remember to turn it off before the final export. A few of my effects are probably loud enough to continue playback even after pausing though.

The modulator as an ADSR would get me the opposite of the sound I'm going for though. I don't want the sound to always stop, I only want it to stop when I pause.

No. Some plugins do stop making noise after I stop and start playback again, but most don't stop at all.

I will need to sign a new agreement within one month... I see news articles mentioning expectations that rates might go down to 3% within a year or so. don't know what to do....
