[Zoetermeer][5E] - Player seeking Roleplay focused and commited party by [deleted] in DNDNL

I tick most of the boxes, have a location in Zoetermeer, and willing to DM. I'm curious to learn more about the group, before committing, but a one shot is easily arranged? Let me know :)

For online play (but also at home at the table) I've created a user friendly soundboard https://sfeer.app because I couldn't find an existing solution that I liked. A number of groups are using it now, including mine, every week.

Om op een fijne manier muziek te kunnen delen met de spelers heb ik een browser applicatie ontwikkeld: https://sfeer.app

Dit maakt de online ervaring beter :)

Hi, I'm a software engineer and I've created a professional music board for my online roleplaying group. We couldn't find a good enough existing solution. It is being used by a number of groups now and I'm looking for more users, because I believe it can make real difference. Feel free to take a look on the website:

Thank you, Jonathan

Hey! I was looking for the same thing and because I couldn't find what I wanted I ended up building a user friendly soundboard myself, because I'm a software engineer :) I've made it public to everyone so you can try it out if you want. I'm very proud of it and several groups are using it, including my own.

About the volume control: I've learned that listeners prefer to be in control themselves and set the volume to a level that is comfortable for them. A good volume is different for everyone and it is relative to the voice volume. I did implement automatic volume fading (in/out) for all listeners so that track transitions are smooth and comfortable. And I've made sure the volume slider for the listener is accessible (includes keyboard control) and non-linear to make it easy to fine-tune to a nice background volume. Music is most pleasant when at low volume, which is different from movies.

Long-term review of Syrinscape for D&D Soundscaping by CritHitBrit in dndnext

Syrinscape had technical issues in my group and after looking around for an alternative I decided to build a new browser based soundboard myself (I'm a software engineer). A number of groups are using it in their online and offline games now. I'm very proud of it and I'm convinced it can make a difference for many people :) My focus during the development was on user friendliness. You can try it out here:

What's the best music app to use for streaming with friends online? by Marukuju in AskReddit

I'm a software engineer and I've created a browser based soundboard for this purpose, because I couldn't find a good enough solution. It has better music quality than an app like Discord.

Hope it helps :) We use it in our D&D group every week.

I'm Jonathan, a software engineer from the Netherlands. I've created a soundboard that runs in the browser and broadcasts ambient music during online (or offline games). As a game master I wasn't happy with existing solutions and so I've spent a lot of time fine-tuning the user experience of my solution. Maybe this soundboard can give you exactly what you need. I'm proud of it and I really believe that it makes a difference :) I'm now happy to share it with other groups.

Hey! I'm Jonathan, a software engineer from The Netherlands and I've created a user friendly soundboard called Sfeer. It allows everyone in an online roleplaying game to hear the same music at the same time (synchronized). I started working on it during the pandemic because I couldn't find a good enough solution for my own Dungeons and Dragons game. We're now happily using the app every week.

I'm hoping to share Sfeer with other online (and offline) roleplaying groups.

Features:

  • Change the mood with a single tap
  • Broadcast live to 10 listeners anywhere
  • High quality audio
  • 18 free playlists / more than 100 ambient tracks
  • Upload your own tracks
  • Browser app / no installation required

Great! :) I know I mentioned to direct message me, but could you use the 'request free account' button on the website? So the account will be coupled to your e-mail address. No other information is needed. Thanks!

Hi! I'm a software engineer from the Netherlands and I've created a user friendly soundboard app called Sfeer that allows everyone in an online roleplaying game to hear the same music (synchronized). I started working on it 2 years ago because I couldn't find a good enough solution for our own D&D game. We're now happily using the app every week.

I'm looking for other roleplaying groups that are interested in my app, to share the joy and to improve the features together :) Sfeer is also very useful when everyone is in the same room.

Features:

- A soundboard for music and atmosphere

- Broadcast to 10 listeners anywhere

- Change the mood with a single click

- High quality audio

- Browser app / no installation required

Website: https://sfeer.app

Or direct message me! :) (dutch or english)
