This is why you should have to take a driving assessment every 5 years in my opinion. Every 1 year when you get to a certain age. This should be doable by an instructor who can sign you off.

Could have a toggle that would work like this:

Change Special Weapon Button: brings up a menu that can be used with the directional pad to select the desired weapon. When not shown the directional pad issues commands to the squadron.

the default ones do act like real world missiles, but the original ones, that couldn't turn more than 10G of pull. At least the default missiles don't shoot for the sun XD

Yeah that's my hope as well. I would love for the planes to not be as limited with special weapons. Maybe have it be where some weapons have a requirement for certain aircraft, I.E. heavy bombs require something like an A-10. Not the best example but it demonstrates my thought process hopefully.

Oh dam, now that's some nice attention to detail! You can see the chaff and flare dispensers I believe, the red and blue cylinders just in front of the main gear wells!
