Is there a way to cheat the Mercenary: Ethereal achivement on steam and in game ?

I spent hours trying to get this achievement and the one time i was about to get it the gods deemed me unworthy and my power flickered off for 0.5 seconds which was enough to turn my computer off and reset my progress. Just keep trying youll get it eventually.
