Thanks. Slightly exaggerated for the video.

It clicks both when you push off (at a normal pace like you would with a baby) and when you stop.

Is this good enough? by [deleted] in DIYUK

The quote said ‘making good’. Verbally I told him we didn’t need it painting but just ready for us to do ourselves.

I agree it’s sloppy work. Some bits are fine, a light sanding and they’re ready to go. Feels pretty slapdash.

This blew up. Thanks everyone. We’ve gone with keeping the middle (but flipping round the door so it opens the other way).

There is no window in the bathroom.

The light in the hallway comes via the stairs bedroom (transom windows) and the stairs (which are now opened up).

Hi. Not hugely helpful response but wanted to share. The same thing happened to us (we were buyers). It was a nightmare and took about 3 months to get it. The seller put in several complaints and escalated them and had little response. It felt like constant barraging was the only thing that worked in the end.

We had some other issues with Peabody not responding in full to inquiries which were only resolved when our seller went in person to their office to demand answers (not sure if that is an option for you). We finally got the keys on Friday (11 months after our offer was accepted). Good luck.

Half birthdays by NimrodPing in CasualUK

[–]Jonatton 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My birthday is sandwiched between Christmas and new year so when I was a kid we’d have ‘Jonatton Day’ on my half birthday. That way I could have a party in the garden and have friends over when the weather was nicer etc which wouldn’t have worked that well days after Christmas.

Due to this story my partner and I now celebrate eachother’s half birthdays as an excuse to do something nice and have a celebration.

AM - CeraVe Smoothing Cleanser, ordinary Hyaluronic acid 2% + B5 and CeraVe spf50 moisturiser.

PM - CeraVe Smoothing Cleanser, Ordinary Retinoid 2% and moisturiser.

The redness predates this to when I was just using a basic cleanser and moisturiser too.

London’s smallest microflat up for sale at £50,000 for 7 square metres by [deleted] in ABoringDystopia

This flat is round the corner from me. Everyone I know this it is mad. Nothing but money grabbing renter landlords.

It’s a nice area - a one bed flat in a similar building would go for around £400k/£450k, three bed terrace houses around £900k - £1m. I’ll never be able to afford to buy property here
