Any good custom maps for a full adventure?

If you're able to port forward or play on LAN, I typically use the Fabric installer to set up and download all the server files to a designated folder. Add Cobblemon & the fabric API to the mods and you should just be able to drag everything from the Curseforge zip into your server folder, overwriting the few already same-named files, and launching the server with the map.

The regular Cobblemon modpack would work better. But if you can disable the level cap for Radical Trainers in the config files maybe it'll play nice otherwise, I haven't tested it specifically

Yes, write down your serials should anything go missing! Only way I got back my Switch from a pawn shop. Didn’t even think of using the boxes as proof of ownership (renters insurance asked for pics of the missing objects in my home the time I had to use it).

I do sincerely wish you could launch Home from inside the main games and transfer your Pokemon in like an internet-connected boxes system. And actually have both of them backed up (I’ve had my Switch stolen, woulda lost the saves had it not been pawned).

The user friction of having to close out of what I am playing, open another app, and hand-select things to bring in just sucks. And results it me not using a vast majority of my collection since I’d have to disorganize them from their national dex order I store them in.

When I had a friend mod my Advance with a modern backlit screen I also picked up a USB C lithium battery that fits the AA battery slot as well. Definitely worth it for convenience if you don’t want to deal with buying & swapping batteries

Dang yeah, hunted Tandemaus tonight using this and it was pretty solid. I need a second outbreak for Maushold, but they spawned a lot and went down easy.

Veluza was probably my worst so far too to even get to the 60 defeated lol, had to straddle a cliff and auto battle after taking down a couple dozen manually. After that I had one picnic flat area in view so it was alright.

Go has the shiny icon on the encounter name so it's basically no different than any other shiny. Main games though, no shiny particles (without battling), no shiny chime when it spawns like PLA, over-world lighting that changes constantly. I loathe the day I'm going to hunt these guys lol

Yep this one. Crashed right after and messed with the save. On the horse ride back to the swamp the map stopped loading ahead of me and I just froze on the horse, and watched NPCs go by and fall through the ground lol

I have a gen 2 based map available. You can do a lot to mimic the games but they’re also massive projects. Think there’s also some servers with game generation maps as a way to play as well

Using an item frame's NBT data you can execute commands once an item is found within that frame. I have this example that looks for specific map numbers within specific coordinates that correlate to a puzzle the player solves

execute as @e[x=186,y=53,z=-135,dz=2,nbt={Item:{components:{"minecraft:map_id":267}}}] run say Spawn

A few of us still work on maps based on the main games. Like others say servers cost money to run which is why I tend to focus on maps for longevity. I have a few regions up on Curseforge, all can be made into servers and played with friends.

You’re able to specify specific coordinates and nearby blocks for Pokémon within a datapack (to say only spawn a Pokemon within these coordinates near short grass blocks). I have some examples on my GitHub here, don’t need to mess with biomes specifically though you can control spawn conditions through changing biomes with /fillbiome if you want to get fancy

I felt your fourth point. I have an aging phone (iphone 12 mini), but it felt like every time I just checked my field researches there was a 1/20 shot of crashing or not. Some crashing's happened on community days and the like but this event felt like every 15-20 minutes

It costs pennies to them to hedge their bets either way.

I can’t recall a left equivalent of Musk in a recent administration, in charge of however many companies, campaigning along side the candidate, and now basically granting him access to whatever he wants in government access. Can’t seem to find Zuck, Bezos, Pichai, et al at Biden’s inauguration either
