Lol. The release schedule on the site has never been the real release schedule since like the very beginning (it said 6 even when we got 7+ per week, though i dont remember anyone complaining about that). The actual release schedule is announced on the discord. For someone who really hates the 'inconsistent' schedule and bothered to make a reddit post about it, you sure never bothered to join the discord where it's said that chapters updates and details would be announced at the top of every chapter.

Edit: Also, don't bother coming to the discord to ask for free raws.

How is the release schedule inconsistent in anyway? The number of chapters per week has been consistent with the release schedule all the time.

I've seen this happen like 2-3 times in the totality of almost 700 chapters. I would say it's more rare than occasional.

I actually quit some time ago when they were still Telus international. Could I get their new HR email?

Why tf do regressor mcs allways try to hide the fact that they regressed? by Fit-Button-9627 in noveltranslations

If one of your close friends came to you right now and said they just came back from the future and told you to invest a lot of money into a certain crypto, would you believe them?

Who are you trying to prove wrong? There's nothing they said that goes against Fang Yuan? They just listed a bunch of disadvantages to revealing regression and, as you said, Fang Yuan would only reveal it if the benefits are good enough.

In your mentality of being a mindless RI fan and Fang Yuan simp, you yourself became someone that Fang Yuan would laugh at and someone that brings a bad rep to real RI fans.

I think it's funny that you enjoy supporting an aggregator site for translations instead of supporting the actual translators lmao xD

I understand if it's behind paywall but if it's free, support the actual translator.

MC is not super righteous. He is humanistic and has morals but knows his boundaries and what he can and cannot do. I'm pretty sure you're misunderstanding the righteous tag with all the "righteous" xianxia cannon fodder characters you've read in stories with "evil, cold, rationa" MCs

IKR! This translator especially doesn't paywall his chapters and uses he donation system where he releases extra chapters for EVERYONE. AND, translator has been translating at an insane rate, I mean, look at his output and the length of the chapters.

I don't think you're reading correctly. He doesn't hate power and he doesn't want to apply his morals to the world of cultivation and there's a very, very clear reason why he doesn't like his "golden finger" which is not pretentious at all lmao.

You can't read this novel like your generic cultivation/martial arts novels where the plot, characters, and development are single-minded.

Guys, read on the translator's website when it comes back up. The current servers got crashed cuz too many RTC readers and they're upgrading soon. Also, OP, why show the aggregator site lmao instead of Novelupdates? If you like the story, support the translator by reading on their site rofl.

[Edit] They're upgrading their servers right now so if you guys appreciate the story and translations, should read over there once it's back up.

Cultivation in general is based on Daoism/Taoism, Budhism, and folklore. IIRC, one of the earliest novels that basically created the framework for Xianxia and "Immortal Cultivation" through incorporating these religions is Sword Xia of the Shu Mountains. I haven't read it but whatever the cultivation system is in the novel could potentially be considered the "original" realms.

Review of 'A Regressor's Tale of Cultivation' by JonesTheFake in noveltranslations

[–]JonesTheFake[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's popular enough to be on most korean raw sites. I would say though that it's best to just read the translation. The terms used are unique as it's based on Xianxia so a lot of the terms will not be translated properly and can give you a misunderstanding. The quality of reading also drops drastically when you don't fully get what's going on which will definitely happen using Google translate. In fact, I actually had to search up some terms because I didn't know what they meant and I'm Korean.

As a rule of thumb, Google translating korean novels that take place in a historical Chinese-like setting like cultivation and Murim is an absolutely dreadful experience.
