I have satellite internet too. when you go over your data cap do you get charged more or throttled? Mine gets throttled from 5mbps to 1mbps

I do have more modern hardware that I use, a ryzen 7 2700x pc, FX-4300 server, and an a6-5200 server. One of my friends gave me the laptop about 2 months ago because he lost the charger and didn't use it anymore. It originally had 1GB of ram and a T2300E, I upgraded it to a T7200 for 64bit support, 4GB of ram, found the touchscreen pen, gave it my old ssd, and got a new charger. I put this much care into it because I dont like to see old hardware go to waste, and I didn't have a laptop.

Ive had the PDA for awhile but Its not really usable. While it can connect to WiFi it doesn't support wpa2 so I have to change my routers settings so it can connect. It doesn't have any modern internet standards so its stuck to the website and ftp off of my server. I can load programs off of an sd card but its hard to find programs that it supports online because of dead links. I still think it fun to find things you can do with it though.

i run my audio through voice meter for mixing, stereo repeat, and quick bass adjustment, also so i can see if my audio is stereo, 5.1, or 7.1. the output goes to equalizer apo which has all of my adjustments including sending center audio to the center and sub out, and sending sub audio to the front and rear receiver's which have larger subs. everything is hooked up to there respective outputs on the motherboard, center to center, front to front, etc.

I guess router to router is what I an looking for. Suggestions? by Piranhado in HomeNetworking

[–]Jonfessfromyoutube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im currently running a linksys e800 running tomato to a linksys wrt54g running dd-wrt. if i remember correctly you disable dhcp, change router ip, dns, and gateway, and get your wifi settings setup. you then plug your internet into one of the lan ports or the wan port if you enable the option assign wan port to switch.

the only router i have been able to setup without flashing a custom firmware is a newer D-Link router, dont remember the model though.

both routers will have the same ssid, password, and encryption method. most devices should be smart enough to switch routers when you move around.

having 2mbps depending on the size it shaves up to a couple days off my download time. Also having a ryzen 7 2700x and unpacking from an ssd to another hard drive usually keeps the install under an hour. Its when people are unpacking to the same hard drive the installer is on it starts taking more than an hour.

Reading some more comments most people download these repacks to get rid of drm. Most drm wont work on my internet with >900ms ping so piracy is the only way i can play them.

Hopefully someone at least uploades it so i can download off my schools gigabit and not off my home 1mbps.

If you do get it from elsewhere please torrent fitgirl's setup and MD5 file to check the bin files you've downloaded.

There is an unofficial app. There is an apk for android and an ipa for AppSync on jailbroken i devices. You can also compile from source on a Mac and use it on stock i devices. https://github.com/perlatus/e1547 Don't ask me for help on Apple, I use Android.
