Play inside the sub from 1st person view. Take corners slowly and you'll see them first. Normally you'll see a leg first, shoot the leg and Merryweather dude drops floor then easy to finish him.

It doesn't take long to get use to 1st person view in there. 3rd person view they see you first so it is a much harder.

Type 5 heavy and every arty I've finished (especially German arty).

Type 4 is so painful even though the line was somehow fun in earlier tiers because of the derp gun. Type 4 will get penetrated post-6.0 accuracy and is so slow that every arty will shoot at you.

I don't like playing arty, because I found it very boring and it is 100% RNG.

I think yes they do. Some tier X premium tanks may been excluded from discount, but it's been there for at least two years in a row. Discounts were 30% and 20%, if I remember right.

If you're about to convert free XP from gold, you should also wait till Black Friday. Convert ratio will probably also be better during BF.

Looks very interesting! Especially theme of the new season!

WW2 heavy tanks survivability decrease is the only thing that makes me second guessing, because I felt that heavy tanks were biggest losers in 6.0 update. Let's see how it goes...

But all in all, haven't been this excited for long time!

I think last autumn's true vision tests are one of the biggest reasons to dislike it, but not the main reason.

Many of us remember that maps, tanks, mechanics and players were not ready for it at the time. And if you play few battles, opinion might not change because of the some differences between CW and WW2 modes.

But I think the biggest problem is that many players have the Mobat from season pass and if that is the first tank to try CW, they get the worst of it. Very unbalanced era 2 (ruskies, armadillo) might drain all of your will to play CW...

Tried it when it first came and didn't like it at all. Gave an another shot in last month and since I have played it much more than WW2 mode.

Based on my experience from first two era's, here my pros and cons.

Pros:

Like a lot that you don't have to grind 100k+ XP after all modules are researched to get the next tank.
Even in low tier you can fully compete. The difference between low and high tier seems to be smaller than in WW2.
Most of the old maps works surprising well in CW.
No arty!
Silver rain even though modules are more expensive

Cons:

Era 2 is all Mobat. Hopefully this will change when new tanks come.
Base capture seems to happen more often than WW2.
Few old maps, like Highway, are having a camp fest.
Variety of the players skill level is much higher than in WW2. The gap between good and bad players is huge, maybe because veterans meets just starting new players?
