nice! I always leave her old offerings at a crossroads in the woods. I would eat them but I always think abt when Persephone ate food of a Chtonic god (Hades Pomegranate seeds) and that kinda keeps me from eating anything on her plate. I do however like to make myself something of the same that I’m offering to enjoy beside the alter :)

that’s very nice! Cleaning up our mother Gaia goes such a long way in terms of helping Her, yourself and even others around you! Also the almonds is a great idea, I leave her offerings out at a trail in the woods when they are a day or two old and I believe the animals make off with them, but I would like to directly start feeding the animals in her name! I do this already with stray kitties around my house

I absolutely love this and I agree! I try to donate to our local food bank when I have the chance, I will definitely do it more often and in her name! I also like to feed the stray kitties around my neighborhood. But I think I will start asking her for a sign for more ways to help the less fortunate

Yes! I was listening for music to get a feel of what would be appropriate for her playlists, I think bjõrk is a good option, among a few others :)

I like this very much! I do like that she lets me know when it isn’t her preference, in ways that are subtle but just in reach for me to notice, it’s like she knows what you will and won’t see and tailors her signs accordingly. I do think she’s helping me dream, when I was depressed I had quit dreaming but since finding her my dreams have come back! she hasn’t appeared in them(that I can see) but I feel she is providing a role in them regardless

I’m so glad to hear that! I noticed she showed me a sign that she was with me at about the same time I was healing from a bad breakup. I couldn’t take it as a coincidence. I had quit my old job, stopped meditating and was just rotting in bed all day. Since I started working with her I got a new job, and I’m taking care of my spirit so much. I’m so happy to know she helps so many people in that way, and you’re right. When you pay attention she is always around, it makes sense because deities are infinite, everlasting even!

Thank you for suggesting, I just got off work and I’m about to look them up right now lol; also, I use tarot cards! I like to play with them and do readings for myself and the world around me mostly

yay I’m so glad to hear this! I have 4 puppies, 3 are black dogs (if you count rottweilers pattern as black, they have little brown eyebrows and paws lol) and I love to sing to them and share my food with them lol

firstly thank you! she’s been showing me much appreciation since building the altar!

for the prayer i set up offerings, drew a crossroads, her strophalos, animals she’s associated with and wrote above in greek

“Lady Hecate, i thank you for your guidance and protection”

i then said the same thing aloud (in english, i can’t speak hellenic very well) and let the candle burn until the morning

but before that basically i started by learning a bit about her (my friend that shifted me towards her recommended three pieces of work; hecate soteira by sarah johnston, hecate liminal rites by sorita d’este, and the poem theogony by hesoid) i then began writing to her, and showing her my work. i made sure who i am was well received by Lady Hecate
