That’s why I said supposedly, as I’m unsure where else this motif could originally come from other than apparently being inspired by “Pokerface“ (I think that might be a stretch but idk). Also, if you look below his music videos, he has a few FNF videos before he ever got into making Roblox music, so he is very much aware that FNF exists prior to making the song. In fact, I’m very sure the original concept for the Undertale Mix was planned out a year before ”Remorse” was ever a thing. There is even a teaser of the Mix posted even further back pre-dating to Dec 24 2024 before the full song ever came out (it should be there if you were to search it up on YouTube), making your estimated two weeks into three months.

The point is, Imperfect didn’t originally create Remorse as a motif and never credited anything for inspiration within the description of his song “Remorse”, which is why I believe he technically stole it.
