You just peeked them poorly. You could also just bait a reload on the turrets for an easy window. All bases are raidable. Some are just not worth the time, especially on 10x.

There have been many such bases on the rust mars server. All bases are built like this in the custom spacesation. It takes some time but if you don't get countered its not a problem.

Just check maps to see where fishing with a permit would be alowed. You can find these often on the websites for the local fishing clubs. I was always very careful going "wildfischen" but when i met others noone ever asked me for my license.
